Western Springs Kitchen

This was such a fun project to work on.  My lovely clients were undertaking a big renovation on their house and had given a lot of thought and planning to the finished look they wanted for their kitchen.   Having a busy household with 3 growing sons, they were clear that they wanted an unfussy look with clean lines, a strong and durable kitchen with plenty of storage and no handles interrupting the flow.

So for the handles they chose the ‘push to open’ on their tall pantry units, finger recess on the upper wall units and Archant’s Heritage Ezi-Venice extrusion handle on the base units.

The cabinetry is in Melteca Snowdrift in a Satin finish, which has a lovely smooth feel.  The benchtop is a pure white composite stone in 30mm.

The black tap adds a bit of drama and is a lovely contrast with all the white.

The tiles are a classic subway style with a dark grout and the floors are wide board oak floating floor boards and they really add a lovely warmth to the space.
