Kauri Cottage Kitchen

This kitchen is in a very special 1860’s kauri cottage in the heart of gorgeous Parnell. It is one of Auckland’s oldest inhabited homes. It is indeed a very special home.

I loved working on this house and had such great clients who were a complete pleasure to work with. My task was to create a kitchen/dining space that complimented the old, introduced the modern and to add ‘light’ to the space, without changing the stained kauri walls, floor & ceiling.

With this in mind we used Sage doors Acrygloss in White & Silica. The benchtop is from Archant – Pearl Grey Stone with waterfall ends. And the backsplash is Bronze Antique Mirror.
